got my new pc working. thanks for your help everyone. tomorrow, after i back up everything on my current pc, I'm going to remove it and plug in my new pc to the internet. then i can try to run far cry 2 (came with mobo) to check to see if my gtx 260 is working fullybut hey, it could play some metal while i played minesweeper... ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (thanks all of you)

Remember to install AntiVirus!...and you should run a quick scan on your previous computer to make sure nothing is infected before you move it over....in the end though congratulations and happy gaming :]
