I have a pretty good idea on how to record Video Game footage to my PC. (Never tried it, but the tutorials I've read were pretty clear). The methods that I've seen, however, seems to cut out all ambient noise. Which, in some cases, is very good, but what if I want ambient noise (my voice)? It's obvious that places like X-Play and Gametrailers record footage first, then put the voice/review on it in Post-Production, but what do I do if want to do a ''live'' review; if I want to talk as I'm playing and have that be recorded? Thanks for this. Turn the volume down on the game a bit?Video Reviewing
No. The method I was planning on using seems to cut out ALL ambient noise. Turning down the volume would just result in a muted picture. I may have to go back to the drawing board for this. Any more input would be much appreciated.

The program you use to record should let you configure things such as that. I'm pretty sure that FRAPS, the probably the most popular recorder, just lets you choose where the sound is being recorded from, but only one source.
