Go into the BIOS and ensure that you have the correct memory voltages and timings manually inserted.Just built my PC...a bit of a problem...
How would i go into BIOS

at the start of the computer, there should be a number to press, its usually f8 for f10
So should i just press the power button and turn it back on?
Yeah. it's safe to just turn it off and turn it back on. In my experience with newer systems, the Delete key usually gets you into the BIOS. Make sure you have the correct voltage and timing values handy before punching them in.
Yep, just turn it back on.

yes, make sure to access the bios right after the computer starts
ican you give me your specs?
wait...why does he have to do this? does everyone need to do something like this when they first boot up their computer?and where the hell do you find these voltages and timings?

[/QUOTE]No, you don't need to set voltage and timings. That's detected for you. The only time that you need to mess with that is when OCing. Those settings are located in the BIOS.

Most motherboard tend to undervolt the RAM, although the timings are probably fine.
