is there list of highest hardware demanding games?

crysis is one of the most highend hardware demanding games so far. i know DiRT is also have high system requeriments.do you know any list like top10 (top 100 would be better) currently high system demanding games counting from 1 to 10 like;1.Crysis +1200$2.DiRT 1100$3.Gears of War 1040$.....i mean the real minimum cost to play that game. not the market price of game. i've got a new system which has cost 750$ to me and i can ply cod4 at highest settings. (1680x1050) but it sucks at Crysis.(in same resolution)so do you know a list like that? or can we make it here? first step, sorting games from highest demanding to lower. calculating the costs is second step.. check out to last post for information and full sizeis there list of highest hardware demanding games?
number one is gta4 if you want to max out every thing, need a 1gb graphics card for max draw distance, farcry 2 is also a pretty demanding gameis there list of highest hardware demanding games?
i see.lets consider that i bought everygame i am going to put on my list.and then i sort them by FPS i get in Highest settings.would it be reliable or does it differ by nvidia to ati?i mean an nvidia card plays Crysis @20FPS and Farcry2@20FPS but an ATi Card plays Crysis@10fps but Farcry2@40FPS. 20-20, 10-40. is that possible?

LOL i built a $650 PC that runs Crysis max in DX9 with more than 40fps stable. so when you say $1200+ i lol'ed

What you're talking about is a good idea, but there are just way way too many variables to make this sort of thing viable in the real world. There are too many graphics cards, too many processors, too many variables with RAM and motherboards. You could be very general, but in order to get specific you would have to be able to deal with literally millions of different permutations of machines. Plus, assigning a monetary value to the parts is fairly arbitrary. For instance, my $500 rig does a much better job of running Crysis (medium-high) than does my roommate's $800 rig, simply because I found some better rebates. Plus, prices are always falling, so your list could never be static...it would be dropping all the time.
what about making a notebook version of it? or just making a list of games without price? i think people with more technical facilities can do that. (notebookcheck or futuremark for example) i guess number of polygons, sizes of textures and other things are calculatable and comparable. i will start to make some research and draw some graphs comparing the games tonight.
i made a chart from the games i have played and the hardwares i have used. game bars are included in more than one GPU's and it means it can be played on all of them but with different video settings. the top of the bar is highest settings and the lowest point of bar is lowest settings... is this chart clear? or is it confusing? does it make sense?should i keep going with more relevant data?
Why only older and lower-end GPUs? Why not include the GTX series or the 4800s?
cuz i have never seen and played with them. as i told above its based on my own observetions. these are notebook gpu's by the way
