havent really been looking at the new hardware so i thought i might takle a look on Guru3d and some other sites, seeing as im gonna be building a new cmpouter within the next 2 weeksi came across the GTX295, and boy was i impressed
it beats the 4870X2 in all the benchmarks at 1920x1200 (which is the res ill be using on my new cmoputer)
im gonana show my dad this, hopefully convince him to get this instead of two GTX260's in SLI

oh and one last question, would GTX260's in SLIW beat teh GTX295??
i think no cause isnt it meant to be two GTX280's on one card???
like the 9800GX2 was two 8800GTS's on one card might be old news, but look at this, OMG!!!!!!!!!!
No it is two GTX260s on one card. Though it looks impressive I would almost be willing to bet it will have the same issues as the 9800gx2, such as heat, microstuttering, and a short life span as the GTX 300 series will most likely be hitting retail in summer.might be old news, but look at this, OMG!!!!!!!!!!
Don't care, patiently waiting for prices and power consumption on GTX265/285.
