i noticed that i have a removable cap covering half of my 8 pin connector on my mobo, is that just there so people that only have an 4 pin wire from the psu can use the mobo?i have an 8 pin one, so should i just pop of that cap and use the whole 8 pins? whats with the cap cover half of my mobo's 8 pin connector
yea, use all 8 pins. You can use just 4 if you want, but that is generally for people with low power, (not gaming) systems. Just play it safe and connect all 8.whats with the cap cover half of my mobo's 8 pin connector
