I need some laptop help please.

I'm considering buying a new laptop and I saw an HP laptop that really caught my attention. here are the specs:-Intel Core 2 Duo (2.40Ghz)-RAM: 4GB DDR2-250Gb Hard Drive-Blu-Ray player-Nvidia Geforce 9200 512MB-Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-Vista home Premium So what do you think, I haven't been a PC gamer in a while mostly because my desktop is a piece of crap but would really like to start playing PC games again so will this be good enough to run current games? how long do you think this will last me both in durability and specs-wise, as in will I need to upgrade it soon? Thanks in advanceI need some laptop help please.
that GPU (9200) is not for gaming. you could play some old games and maybe even some new games with lowest graphic settings.I need some laptop help please.
Oh damn, i didn't know that.. I thought the newer the series the better so which graphics card should I look out for?
Oh damn, i didn't know that.. I thought the newer the series the better so which graphics card should I look out for?
even the latest series allways has non-gaming chips for multimedia use, usually seen in laptops. you should be looking at 9600 and up for gaming. 9800 should do the job even with latest games
ok thanks a lot dude.....one last question, is it possible to change the graphics card of the laptop? because I may not find a laptop with that specific graphics card
ok thanks a lot dude.....one last question, is it possible to change the graphics card of the laptop? because I may not find a laptop with that specific graphics card
basicly no. they don't sell laptop graphics cards anywhere, and gaming laptops are always specifically designed for powerful graphics gards for proper air ventilation and cooling system.
Crap, I guess I have to start looking for another laptop then. Any suggestions with like 1500$ budget. thanks a lot again
here are few brands you should check out:http://www.alienware.com/http://www.sagernotebook.com
Ok I'll check them out but i doubt i'll find them where I live, the UAE, there are mainly just the most common brands like Sony, Toshiba, hp, dell.......sorry for any trouble
so from those brands which do you think is the best? should I check out the dell XPS?
That HP laptop you saw you can get it with a Geforce 9600 GT
Ok, so I found another model.. this one had the GeForce 9600M GT and the processor is Core2Duo T9400, 2.53 Ghz. What do you think? will this be able to run most new games and upcoming games as well? Also, does this processor support 64-Bit
anyone?
That graphics card will play modern and new games on med settings some on high, idk if the processor supports 64-bit though.
it does so no worries
ok thanks, that's great news... I think I'll go buy it really soon :D
