Is this Pc overkill?

Now I'm getting a new pc, and it got a bit more expensive than I had anticipated. So are there any components I should change out to get a better price/performance rating?Ok, here it is:i7 9402 XFX 602M GTX 280 SLI750GB Spinpint 1 32mb, 7200 rpmCorsair Powersupply 1000W6gb 1333mhz DDR3 memoryAsus p6 deluxeand an Antec 1200 casing Oh and I only have a 1280x1024 monitor Is this Pc overkill?
With that monitor it's overkill. Get a monitor atleast 22''+.Is this Pc overkill?
Downgrade the processor to a 920, get a much, much larger screen.

That setup can take most games on 30'' monitors .

Then ditch SLI. There's no point, really. You'll have sky-high FPS on most games, but anything more than 60fps just is irrelevant.

Get a gtx260 core 216, that card can take just about all games at that resolution.

And I want with my setup at least an average of 50-60 fps maxed out in crysis, as I hate to have hardware that can't even max out current gen games.
Ditch Sli for defo, at that res its too much overkill for sure, you could prob drop your psu for something with less power, doubt you would even need 1000w with that setup anyway although not sure what I7's need but I reckon 750-800w would cover that full setup nicely, probably 600ish if you drop the sli
