i am wondering what to get for this holiday season and which one will have the best performance increase.upgrade:
- Ram- from 2GB 800 to 4GB 1066 also along with a 64x OS
- SSD- from 120GB HDD to that plus 64GB SSD drive (have to upgrade mobo)
- GPU- from 8800GT to a GPU at around $250
- CPU- from my core 2 duo to the Q6600
i Don't really know what to upgrade now. i can still run games on all high but for some games i turn the GFX down just to get a smooth gameplay or to run a mod that requires higher system req.perfomance increase?
If your running Vista, 4gb of ram will really help.perfomance increase?
Also a SSD drive come on.. You can pick up a 500GB-1Tb Hdd for $60-140. Your cpu is fine going to a quad wont help,8800GT is still a good card,
