A Question About Crysis...

right now i run the crysis demo on this :
intel core e6300 1.86ghz
2 gig DDR2
250 gb hard drive
geforce 7300LE
300 wat PSU
i run the game on ABSOLUTE MINIMUM, resolution is lowest and every detail lowest. and the game runs bareable there not alot of lag but there is not a little lag. its in between. so im thinking of upgrading my video card to a HD 3650 512mb since i have VERY LOW BUDGET and i can get it from a friend. i heard from someone people can run this game with the 3650 at about medium and at a resolution of 1024x768 or maybe one higher. so is this possible im not looking to max it im just looking to play pretty good with little to no lagg. if anyone can help or has the card please respond as i know very little about this stuff. thanks
A Question About Crysis...
I'd say the 3650 could do all medium settings at 1024x768 and could average about 25+ fps.A Question About Crysis...
Overclock that cpu too you might see some improvement then
i found these sites and they say they play it on similar specs and the graphics look awesome is this obtainable with my rig?

HD4650, cheap, low power consumption, and much more powerful than the hd3650.
Im suprised u can run the game at all, id just go with that graphics card if you really cannot afford anything better.
its like the best video card i know for a 300 wat PSU (which i dont want to to upgrade) i can also get it for 50$. so this is why i need to know this its because this is my best cheapest option.

NO WAIT!!!! its the ATI HD4670 you want not the 4650. The 4670 will get you all medium @1024*768 around 20fps(on intense action)-40 fps(on low action). It costs like $75, but way better than the 4650.

[/QUOTE] wow your right i just checked www.gpureview.com and the 3650 takes no more then 75 watts while the 4670 takes in around 60 watts. but this seems really shaky. im very new at thise and this is my first time upgrading and i had to convince my dad alot before i could actually buy a new video card and im really afraid of screwing up the computer. do you have any more sources that could help me out? i just dont want to mess up.
and thers another problem i can get the 3650 for 50$ canadian but the price i found for your card is usually in the hundreds:S

The PSU has enough juice for it, the case should be big enough because the card is very small. You should also have a pci-e x16 slot on your mobo to make it work. To check you will need to download CPU-Z open the program and go to Mainboard tab, and tell me what it says under graphics interface.
so i googled and it is an awsome card are you were right much better then then 3650.

i used dxdiag and right now im using a geforce 7300LE PCI-E as my video card so im sure it will fit in.

BUT the only that is not abling me to get it is the price. other then that i would get it. the 3650 is only 50$ canadian but everywhere i check it says the 4670 is around 100$ which is to much for me :(
