AMD 7750 help

Ok, so I have a 5400, and I'd really like the oc potential of the black edition 7750. Now first of all, I have an EVGA 590a, no idea if the AM2+ chip would work at all in the AM2 socket I have. So, for the price it really seems worth it but, would it work? Or am I better off switching my board and processor out for intel.AMD 7750 help
Oh its an EVGA 570a my fault.AMD 7750 help
Why dont you better upgrade your motherboard? This MA770 will be definetly a better upgrade and better overclocker and will also support the new Phenom II which overclock much higher than the original Phenom's. :)
Well, here's the problem with that. I'm using two 8800GT's in SLI, and I'd like to continue to do so, so I'd need a board with an NVIDIA chipset. Now, I just don't really have a need for quad cores at all, and I'd rather stick with duals right now for the money. If I'm getting a new board, its not for another AMD chip, it's going to be intel.
