Asus P6T all the way. I can highly recommend it.
EVGA also just released their Core i7 board, might be worth looking into. On newegg it's been getting lots of good reviews...
Gigabyte Extreme-X58
Yea, believe it or not but I wuz gonna post this thread about this topic also because I'm going to upgarde to ''I7'' soon and I was wondering what motherboard will I need. But yea, I7 is worth the money but it's really expensive because my '' Intel Core 2 Q6600'' is still powerful and I won't upgrade for a while. But what do you guys think, My Q6600 is still good right?I just built this system over the summer....
This one looks awsome : http://xtreview.com/addcomment-id-6739-view-Foxconn-Blood-rage-X58.html
yeah for extreme overclocker and i hope it supoprt 3x2GB 1600mhz cause it doesn't support more then 3x2GB Kit :D
Number of Dimm 3 Slot * Other 6 Lanes = 6 : Slot to put DDR3 If Foxcom want to lead again i suggest themt o make a BLOODRAGE EXTREME with : 6 slot (^^)
Memory :three channels DDR3 1066 or 1333 MHz; support nonstandard frequencies 1600 and 1800 MHz; maximum volume 24 GB (three slotsDIMM);
they asy 24GB ? but how is that possible 3x8GIG ? But that wouldn't be 1066mhz ? It doesn't support 1600mhz ? I mean how can it be that awsome ?
