Hello, i figure i should start off my telling you my system specs.I run a Dual-Core Intel Pentium D, both running 3ghzI have 2gb of DDR2 RAMRunning on Windows XPWith an nVidia XFX 9600 GT 512mb im not in need of a HUGE overclocking, but i have been disappointed lately when i bought my 9600GT last week that im only getting around a solid 20fps on WoW, with barely anything maxed out (Running on a resolution of 1440x900, which ran fine on my 8400 GS ). If i require an overclock or what is beyond my knowledge. Could someone give me a hand with this? All of my drivers are up to date.I Need Some Help Overclocking My PC
First off , what kind of MOBO do you have? If its a pre-built like a Dell , HP , ect... The BIOS to OC are locked.Second , you should be getting a lot more FPS on WoW then that just the way the system is. Unless the new X-Pac up'd the recommended specs a lot.I Need Some Help Overclocking My PC
my motheboard is an ASRock ConRoe 1333-D667, its a custom made PC.i know, and considering my most played game is WoW, its very disappointing, the Max System Req's for Wrath of the Lich King is any GPU w/ 64mb of VRAM, or a card equal to an ATI X1600 w/ 128mb of VRAM

Sounds like something is wrong. Have you reinstalled the correct drivers? Also did you make sure you plugged in the external power connector when you upgraded? because my x1900 performs less than the 9600gt and my card could pretty much max WoW with a good frame rate.
im pretty sure everything is up to date, i downloaded the driver off of the nvidia website, and just recently checked for an update from the Windows Live Updater thing.
Are you using a lot of addons that could be sucking up your resources?Other then that and the drivers I can't really think of anything else unless something is not working right or your internet connection is lagging you to 20FPS.
i have recently removed and re-installed WoW, im going to run it for the frist time since that, ill write back to see if removing the addons helped at all. Appreciate all the help =]
