Is an Intel DX58SO Motherboard compatible with Nvidia Video Cards?

It says crossfire ready, but does not mention nvidia or sli.Is the board compatible with a geforce 9800 GTX+?Is an Intel DX58SO Motherboard compatible with Nvidia Video Cards?

You can put a Nvidia card on a crossfire board, but you cannot SLi on a crossfire board.
why would you want to get an nvidia card with an intel or crossfire supporting board?
I was under the impression X58 did both SLI and Crossfire. Maybe they don't all do it??

correct, the intel x58 chipset is the only one that supports both sli and crossfire, other than that, no intel chipset supports sli
sry, I didnt realize that you had picked out one of the new x58 intel boards, you dont see too much of that yet, i was expecting an older intel mobo and just didnt check the product number
