Just got a new PS3 cause my 60 gig YLOD on me. I was trying to put my 60 gig PS3 hard drive into the new PS3.. so i can retrieve my old data, however it saying the hd have to be 2.53 or latter version. What should i do in order to retrieve my old data back? Would it work if I restore my new PS3 and try inserting the old hard drive again or it will ask me to restore the hard drive and I will lose my old data for good..Is there also an external source of doing this... some how by hooking to PC? If so, what do i need in order to do this.. Please help me :(Is there any way to retrieve data from laptop HD
yeah if you buy a laptop drive enclosure then it will become a portable hard drive, just make sure it's sata and not ide
