It can handle most current games at a decent resolution. At least I think.You might need to upgrade more than your video card though, can you tell us what your power supply is? Nvidia Geforce card help!
That is a mobile graphics card so I'm guessing you have a laptop. You might want to tell us your system specs before buying that card, or any graphics card for that matter.

the 9600m can play every game that's currently out on med/high only game that may have some expecptions are GTA 4 and crysis depending on your cpu
